Owltards

OK.. the photograph below is a result of a conversation between a certain Pinchi and I.. The conclusion of the conversation was that if I can imitate an owl perfectly and sit with/near it on grass…And have a professional painter paint us, the painting could compete with the much coveted Girl on Grass painting by Van Gogh..

That would include:

Step 1 : Finding an owl resembling my nature.

Step 2 : Me imitating the owl

Step 3 : Morphing images and giving it to a painter.

Step 4 : Convincing painter to be crazy enough to paint the resultant image –> Mili on Ulli

Step 5 : Sending it to Van Gogh lovers 😛

Pinchi, I completed step 1 and 2.. I found the perfect owl and I tried imitating it.. We look the Owltards.. Him the Owl, Me the Retard (wait, whats new?).. All I need now is the grass 😀

Please comment on my new venture.. Who knows you might need an authorization to look at such a unique painting later 😛

On a serious note, I had a good day at work today! I tried booking tickets for Iron Man 2, but the firewall had filtered the payment gateway.. Now I have to physically go collect the tickets 😦 … Dont be surprised, there are many such lazy people like me 😐

I watched people play Pinning the Donkey after a long time, in what was the Birthday celebration of the May babies at work.. Ofcourse, it looked more like Feeling the Donkey when the whole donkey was being felt for pinning its missing tail.. Looked kind of weird especially when people did it while being blindfolded. But then what the heck, I had super duper fun watching people pin tails on bellies, mouths and on the heels of the donkey. Poor him. Irony of the game was that, the winner was gifted a soft toy, that too of a cat. The donkey must have felt raped and cheated, i am sure. 😛

India v/s Australia was a real let down.. Although David Warner did interest me yet again with his funny-yet-serious-at-work outlook. Good for him!

My coffin calls for now. Later.

P.S. : Pinchi, what do ya think?

  1. Sorry to burst your bubble, A, but Christian is a bot. 😛

(I googled “Just want to say what a great blog you got here!”)

But look on the bright side. It means your site is being picked up by spam bots and therefore, it’s getting attention from bots (spam or search)! 😀

    • Lol..well, didnt think it would go that as far as spam. Well, good part is that i atleast get to delete stuff like this.

So there Christian, always a pleasure (to delete you)

      • 2 things:

        1. You don’t have to delete stuff like that. You can just de-link it, i.e. remove the links from the comments and the name of the commenter. That way, no one can tell it’s spam. 😛
(I should be telling you this through some means other than commenting on your blog 😛 )

        2. By deleting Christian’s comment (and your subsequent reply), anybody reading this comment thread is going to wonder what the heck we’re talking about, and consequently, you are going to inadvertently have proved that you are nuts (and consequently, that I am too).

  2. You know how you occasionally read a nice post that’s interesting and all, but you can’t figure out what to put as the comment?

(You should, considering that you’ve apparently been reading my blog for some time, but have only left your first comment on the last post :P)

BTW, the “who?” on the owl was a nice touch. And you two make a very cute owltard couple. 🙂

(Maybe the owl could be your Bunty?)

    • Well, yours is a rhetorical statement then !
I could have commented on your blog posts, just that I never could figure what I should actually put in as a comment.. The last time I wanted to put in a comment was a mere “Applause” on The Night Train way back in October 2008.. And it was that day when I added you onto my Blogroll 🙂

Aha! The Owl is cute.. But it is just that.. I need some response to my Retard conversations.. I am a woman afterall ( 😛 ) .. it is disappointing to just see him sleeping during the day and staring at night.. or just flying away when i start ranting.. very.
You are giving me ideas of a fling though. It has been long that I have been on a date where the man Listens. 😀

      • My only post in Oct 2009 was “Too Much Music”.

The Night Train, the poem, was published to the site in Oct 2008, and it’s not even part of the “blog” section. 😛

So now I’m totally confused. :S

      • ohho… I meant, i read the poem in october 2009.. 2008 was a typo error.
and yeah i do know it aint a part of the blog section.. hasnt been since mid 2008 i presume.. all your poems.
        i am reading mumbai..fyi 🙂

      • Yes, that’s right…all the poetry is in a different section, though I’m trying to integrate it somehow so as to allow comments on it. Let’s see what I can come up with.

I posted a new post just now as well. Strange how I sometimes seem to have 2-3 posts lined up when I post one, but other times, I can go dry for days…does this happen to you too?

      • hmmmm…dont know.. i almost always have more than two things to write about….i post an article a day,so it kind of spaces things out..when you dont have too many people to talk to and you rely too much on the conversations you have with your mind, the drafts do keep increasing yeah. it has been long that i have been absolutely blank..

  3. The photoshopped effect is not really near to Gogh, but you’re getting there :p

“Beak the Ulli” and “Freak the Mili” should have been better time-pass than “Tail the Donkey” 🙂

    • I still have the grass pose to post.. That will be with sound effects and will be compared to a certain Goddess and her owl 😛
